VAT

Generally, VAT at 20% is due on all products featured on the www.mobilitycareaids.co.uk website. VAT is already included in all our prices.

 

EMedia Communications Limited is pleased to be able to sell a vast majority of our Mobility Aids products on this website without VAT to those who are entitled to VAT Exemption.

Items available under the scheme are highlighted with "VAT EXEMPT" on their individual product pages and are also displayed upon checkout. If you select to purchase any "VAT EXEMPT" product/s, in doing so, under HMRC Notice 701/7, you are stating that (a) you are eligible to purchase the products at zero rate under the terms of Notice 701/7, and (b) the goods are for your personal or domestic use.

You can then at checkout, apply the VAT zero rating by adding the "VATEXEMPT" coupon and in doing so, you certify that you are eligible for the VAT zero-rating. And by making your purchase, you certify that you are eligible for VAT Exemption.

Delivery

The vast majority orders placed before 1pm are despatched on the same day. All Goods purchased for delivery will be sent to the address given by you in your order and stated in the confirmation of your order.  The Contract shall be deemed to be between the Purchaser and www.mobilitycareaids.co.uk, whether the goods are intended for a third party user or the Purchaser.

Typically, delivery is within 1-2 working days.

£6.20 Delivery Charge on orders above £20.00                (£7.44 with VAT included)

 

FREE delivery on orders received over £100.00

 

All the above delivery costs are plus VAT and this amount is displayed in brackets.

Returns

 

If you need to return a product you have bought from www.mobilitycareaids.co.uk, please contact us via: info@mobilitycareaids.co.uk

You will then be issued with a returns reference specific to your order.

 

You must not return goods to www.mobilitycareaids.co.uk (Trading as EMedia Communications Limited) before contacting us and arranging the returns details.

If you receive your goods and they have either been damaged in transit or are in some way faulty, we will be happy to accept them back and send a replacement, or refund you in full.

​

In these circumstances, you must contact us immediately on the email address: info@mobilitycareaids.co.uk and we will make the necessary arrangements on your instruction.

​

We also accept the return of goods even if they are delivered without fault or damage, but you assess them as unsuitable for your requirements.

​

Under these circumstances the price of the items concerned are refunded, but there may be charges to cover the handling and carriage costs involved.

Upon receipt of the goods we will refund the amount paid or issue an exchange credit as required within 28 days.

 

Exceptions to this are as follows:

 

When the products have been made or customised specifically for you; the products cannot be resold for hygiene reasons e.g. toileting and incontinence items.

If goods are returned beyond the 7 day period but within 21 days of delivery, there will be a 20% charge to cover additional administration and restocking costs.

​

None of the above affects your statutory rights.

Right of Access
